The Kenilworth Veterans Center/VFW Post 2230 held its 2nd Annual Recognition Awards Night on January 23.  Awards were presented to Barbara Bilger, Mayor Kathi Fiamingo, Fire Chief Lou Giordino, Edward Miller and Dan Sims for their vital contributions to the community of Kenilworth and support and service to the VFW/KVC.  VFW 2230 Post Commander Bob Jeans said "The Veterans of Foreign Wars motto: "We honor our dead by supporting the living", is exemplified by tonight's recipients.  Each of them have unselfishly given countless hours of their time and talents so that we may fulfill that obligation."  Kenilworth Veterans Center President Jerry Dobbins commented, "each honoree has distinguished hi m /herself in the community and have supported our organization and the Veteran's miss i  on,"

The celebration continued with entertainment provided by "Olde City Band"
