VFW Post #2230/Kenilworth Veterans Center held its Third Annual Volunteer Awards Recognition night on January 22, 2011.   VFW Commander Bob Jeans said, "The Veterans of Foreign Wars' motto, "We honor our dead by supporting the living, is exemplified by this years recipients."  KVC President Jerry Dobbins stated that the honorees have unselfishly given countless hours of their time and talents so that we may fulfill the VFW/KVC's missions.  Those who were selected have distinguished themselves in the community, in their professions, and/or as veterans.  The honorees are:  Paul Campanelli, Policeman of the Year;  Joe Padula, Firefighter of the Year; Diane Westbrook, Teacher of the Year; Bill and Gina Tipton, Citizens of the Year; and Rick Harrison and Bill Sinkowitz, KVC Members of the Year.  Pictured left to right: Paul Campanelli, Bill Sinkowitz, Joe Padula, Diane Westbrook, Chairwoman Cheryl Vesselli, Commander Bob Jeans, Rick Harrison, Gina Tipton and Bill Tipton.
